When you get back to the office after any kind of break, there is always that anticipating when you turn the key to he office to see whether you’d been careful and booked the cleaner or janitor to carry out a thorough springclean of the shared kitchens and washroom facilities. This can, and should of course be done at every major break, to op up their weekly or daily duties. However hard they may try to work on normal shifts, there is always room to improve, especially where personal hygiene is concerned. Another grey area can be coffee machines – the number of times I hve had to clean out the multi service! These need to be done very regularly to stop the rancid old coffee staining and growing mould. The same must be said of the kitchen area. No one ever elects to clean out that micowave and the shared refrigerator.
